    City of Le Mans

    Labeled “”City of Art and History”” and famous for its numerous events organised throughout the year, the city of Le Mans is a must-see (20 kms from the campsite).
    To those who appreciate visits and patrimony, you will be able to walk around in the Cité Plantagenêt which defines the historical heart of Le Mans, surrounded by its ancient roman wall. Easily recognisable thanks to its singular wood panel houses, its paved roads and Renaissance hotels, it also has an impressive cathedral (St-Julian’s) mixed with roman and gothic styles. If you are into the ancient Egypt area, you can stop by the Musée de Tessé and admire full-sized copies of past’s treasures.

    Only 10 minutes drive from the campsite, enjoy a trip to Papéa Parc! Designed for all ages, this amusement park offers many rides to enjoy with family and friends.

    The “Boulerie Jump” will satisfy and amaze all horse riding enthusiasts. Performances, competitions and demonstrations. More than 40 hectares dedicated to the sport. Something to feast your eyes on!
